John brings to International Trade Consultants, Inc. his 35 years of experience as both a structured trade finance banker and a credit and political risk insurance broker. John began his international banking career in 1979 with Shawmut Bank of Boston, and subsequently worked in the structured trade finance units of First Union National Bank, NationsBank, and State Street Bank. In 1998, John joined our sister company, EIA-Global, as a broker focusing on developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and products for corporate and financial institution clients. John earned his undergraduate degree at Tufts University and holds a Master’s in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Al Giandomenico is the founder and President of ITC, International Trade Consultants, Inc. headquartered in Walpole, MA. He also established EIA-Global Export Insurance Agency, a Trade Credit and Political Risk Insurance brokerage firm in 1979. Al has been recognized as a top producing broker, representing a variety of international businesses and worldwide financial institutions. ITC is a result of EIA-Global’s success over the past 35 years, largely due to the importance of providing outstanding customer service and nurturing valued relationships. Prior to founding EIA- Global, Al worked as an underwriter and sales representative at FCIA (Foreign Credit Insurance Association) in New York City. He served six years on the Export-Import Bank of the United States Advisory Board. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Norwood Hospital, a Steward Healthcare organization. Al attended Choate School in Wallingford, Connecticut, and is a graduate of Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude. He resides in his hometown of Walpole, MA and is married with three children.
